In Dani Levy's comedy "Mein Führer" about the downfall
of the third reich various forms of vfx were required. Supervised
by Frank Schlegel many very complicated set extensions with scale
models of the destroyed german capital had to be composed. A model
of the "Reichskanzlei" building was created measuring
12 meters in length. Digital effects supervisor Markus Degen had
to oversee work on more then 130 shots for
tvt postproduction Frankfurt with
buildings, cgi planes, snow, explosions and huge amounts of crowd
replications to be added in compositing. Sven Pannicke coordinated
vfx work and budget for tvt postproduction Frankfurt.
